Brake Stopper
I haven't fitted one myself but mentioned it to one of the guys on here. Few weeks later he came back to me said the brakes were massively improved and he postponed putting a big brake kit on as he was that much happier with them....I don't know about anyone else. Hope this helps!

It's makes a huge difference on the classic shape cars but very little use on newage cars as they have a more rigid/ stronger chassis and tend not to suffer with the flexing problem.

Get a mate to stand on the brake pedal while you put your hand on or just watch the servo, it flexes ALOT without a stopper!
Some of the stoppers are based on a 90degree bracket which wont carry any extra strength at all, but the type that properly brace into the strut tower do a good job in stiffening up the pedal.
I made my own strut brace and included a wee rod in tension straight off the strut brace. Theres now very minimal flex in the master cylinder.
Sort of see what i mean here

I fitted a Tegiwa one to my 05 this morning and it has made a noticeable difference to the pedal. I took a series of pictures if anybody needs them; as there were no instructions. It's obvious where it goes but pics may help.

When I did my ABS delete and we bled the system, we could see the servo physically moving whilst pumping the pedal so an amount of effort was clearly being wasted moving the servo rather than pumping the brakes

I never had one fitted to my 2 door type R rally car
It's one of those things, Ian, there are far better things to do to make the braking better, but if you've done them all, and still want to do something?
Or if you don't bother with what others do, and just fancy it?
Like everything else in this game, it has to come down to, "Your car, your choice".
Personally, I'm happy with my brakes, but they are far from standard, as you know.

On the road i never ask much of the brakes, but on track they get tested, and i think this has made a worth while improvement!
