Sti exhaust upgrade and headlight question??
I'm looking to change my noisy japspeed full exhaust system for something that's a bit smaller, better fitted and a lot quieter.
Been looking at the hi power hks system, anybody tried 1 and are they reasonably quiet?
If not is there anything else I should look at?ideally I want it coming out straight at the back of the car,not at an angle,4" outwardly rolled tailpipe and well made, not cheap eBay crap.
The car is a my2000 type r v limited if that helps.
Also I need a passenger headlight as my adjuster has fell to bits inside the light (thanks to the breaker on eBay for disclosing this before taking my cash) and I have found a pair which are electrically adjustable, mine are manually adjusted.
Can the electric motors be swapped for manual adjusters or will I have to wait for another pair to come along?
Thanks very much,lee

If you remove the light and heat it in an oven for about 5 minutes on 120 degrees, you can use oven gloves to hold it while you pull it apart.
Then, WITHOUT touching the reflector, rebuild the adjuster.
Give the INSIDE of the glass a good clean, reheat and press back together.
Tip: when pulling it apart, have an old, screwdriver handy to make sure that any strings of adhesive go back onto the light and NOT onto the reflector.
