Hello from new owner
Just thought I'd say hello to the forum as a new member and owner. Just bought 2001 WRX off a friend yesterday and although I have owned a few fast cars over the years this my first foray into the tuned 4WD Jap market.
So I will apologise from the off for all the stupid noob questions that I will undoubtedly be bombarding you all with!
Marco

Thanks Guys.
Here she is, sorry about the quality just quick I-phone pic I took.
From the previous owner it's got a Ihi vf35 turbo, 550 sti injectors, warlbro fuel pump, cone filter induction kit, hdi front mount intercooler, blitz nur spec r exhaust with decat downpipe and centre section, hks ssq blow off valve, live mapped by FB tuning. BC coilovers sti brembos front tarox discs and project mu rears.
Most of it means very little to me at the moment, but i'm still learning!
The bonus is it's only got 49K on it. Needs a bit of TLC though, one of the Morette headlights dipped beam doesn't work, water is getting into the boot, constant beeping behind dash where he had his turbo timer and stereo nicked among other things.

Don't worry about the water in the boot - given its a wide spread problem (that my RB320 also suffers from) I am assuming that it is a Subaru design that helps road holding by increasing the weight in the boot

Ah I see, well going to have a go at sealing it up at some point. From the reading I have been doing on here it seems to be the lights and spoiler that let the water in, so will start there at least.

Thanks.
Didn't realise there was another forum for Surrey dwellers. Will definitely register and come along to some meets. Best way to learn is to meet owners who have been there and done it. Cheers.
