Hks ssqv vs forge dv001?
Hi guy's
I know most say don't fit a after market dump valve but I want one so I'm going to fit one but I have been offered 2 and I have no clue what one would be the better one?
Either the HKS ssqv or forge dv001?
Its to be fitted to a 2005 sti
Also I want the flutter sound I hear that by fitting a HKS cone filter with a dumpvalve will help to make this?
I've also heard doing this can be bad on the turbo? should I be worried about this or?
Thanks
Luke.

That "flutter" sound comes from the turbo stalling. This in turn is bad for the turbo.
If you want that sound, the most harmless way to do it would be an open cone filter as this will allow you to hear the turbo slowing, as opposed to it stalling
