Do you know they're also illegal, unless you have some other prerequisites

could you post a link to an official site stating that it illegal please? i was under the impression it was coming into enforcement not already in place?....

i fitted H1 6000K to my blobeye but i wouldn't be able to say what a bug was

 

As far as I'm aware HID kits aren't illegal providing the lights are self levelling, you have a washer jet for them and the headlight unit would be suitable for 'e' marking (or what ever the regulation is?) - so the reflectors and lens.

MOT wise, they're not tested so as long as there in alignment they won't fail

Have a dig through group buys on here. Got HID's for my bug STi from a group buy on here, not sure about wiring in on a WRX due to the way Subaru have wired the light circuit.
