Default average mileage per year

Afternoon all.
Just wondering what everyone's average mileage per year is?

I managed to rack up nearly 20,000 last year. This was mainly due to being based in Germany and driving back home for leave, and a **** up by the army which ment i had to drive to Brussels to pick up a type approval certificate from Subaru Europe.

My WRX PPP is a 2nd car for me so only gets a run in the odd evening or at weekends.

I'm insured for 6k a year which is about 120 miles a week. Whilst its a little restrictive it does mean that my '05 model with 40k miles stays low mileage!! It's also means that my contribution to many sheikhs wallets remains fairly reasonable lol

i understand about keeping the mileage low but why not get the most of out of it before costs become astronomical?

Using my wagon as a daily commute, 300 a week so I guess 12-13k a year, the £60 a week does make me wince a bit but I would pay £50 just to get by train.

I went mad last year and probably did in the region of 8k, but normally, less than 1.5k a year. The car has done less than 20k in the 7 years I've owned it
