Hey all.....

i brought set of vdo dials, and looked through the forum but came across nothing yet that i need.

iv not got the loom for them, as i thought it wouldnt be a problem. the pic here shows connections am i right to say:

g - ground maybe spliced into stereo
+ - switch live
|- ... is that for sensor i.e oil pressure connector.

that would be my first guess.

live needs to be switch via ignition so its not on all the time.

 

Yeh was thinking my stereo as that only comes on with ignition

 

dunno what car you have but a good place on newages is the clock as it has two lives a permanent and a switched and they are marked on the clock.
but stereo is good too

 

I have wagon turbo2000 96reg. ok cool never thought clock really, cheers

 

Be careful with the live: it MAY want to be with ign position one, or two.
One is for stereo, two is for just before start, ie: engine run.

And take pics further away, that one is useless.
