Default STI Import run on V-Power (no remap)

Evening.

If a JDM imported STI V4 had never even mapped and run for several years on V-Power in this country, would this be safe? Or is it likely to be a timebomb?
Cheers

Jim

It can be safe but really you need something to monitor the knock so a KS3 is recommended (has visible and audible alarm) asi it will only take one tank of fuel to cause you issues
If you start to modify then a remap is recommended as the version 4's were mapped for 97 ron fuel in Japan compared to 100 ron of the version 5 onwards.
