Default Air induction

I have complete standard bugeye sti, what best air induction mod to do, on my astra cones suffered really bad from heat so i had airbox modified in it,

what best options on these guys? is it worth changing from airbox to something else or would it be ok to just put panel filter inside airbox?

Panel filter is your best bet, you wont have to change/adjust anything as the standard induction pipework is good for over 400bhp (unlike classics etc) so a good quality dry filter is your best (and cheapest) bet.

You have a choice, I use an STI panel filter but its not cheap (but very good ) you can use cosworth, green, K&n etc.

Hi Tony you say the standard air box with upgraded filter is good for over 400 bhp . Do you know how much over 400 the air box can be pushed to ? Is it capable to flow enough air for 430 - 450 bhp ?
