That price is amazing!

I too would like some consumer feedback.

My only worry is it will be too loud for me, I have the racebox silencer at the moment and I would like a little more sound from it but not too much. Don't want to pee the neighbours off.

Haha, trouble is I work for a housing developer and live at one of our current estates so all my neighbours are my customers.

I had one of these on my Newage WRX. The fit and quality was spot on and seemed to perform pretty well when my car was mapped! Looks nice with the Jap style exit aswell. Only downside was how loud the exhaust is without the baffle. I dont mind an exhaust thats loud when your giving it some but the Japspeed is loud all the time, I ended up getting shot of it and bought a Cobra Sport Track Friendly system instead..

Yes buddy I had the full turbo back system. With the baffle in to be honest it sounded pretty much like a standard system, pretty quiet. But when driving on boost with the baffle in there was a wierd noise coming from the front of my car, apparently so others on here have told me baffles are very restrictive and not a good idea to use them if your cars been mapped without it..

I know it would be loud , what else you you expect from a 3" turbo back, seems a bit to cheap to me though

I know its not the same, but I have just got a classic wrx and it came with a Japspeed shotgun back box on it. Apaprently these are not made for Impreza but it has been modified to fit. I still have the standard down pipe with cat on atm (got a decat pipe to go on) but its loud! lol and tbh I like it. I wouldn't say its it stupidly loud but it is a little loud

So I'm thinking about not fitting the decat pipe as it might be too loud for me

I run the japspeed Turbo back with 100cel sport cat on my RB320. Fit and quality is good and a lot cheaper than other systems. Bob Rawle who maps my car said its a good system and flows well.

I had a Japspeed cat back system fitted to a 350z I had prior to my current sti and I know it wasn't on a scooby. However the systems are cheap but it shows in the build quality I think as it didn't fit straight on so I had to take it to a garage to fit and they ended up having to hack it to pieces and completely realigning it. Not to mention that there was something wrong with the hangers on the back box as it didn't sit in the right place and was lopsided. All that said it did sound lovely.

I have one on my classic and had a nur spec R before and its no where as load as that. I have not lost any power after taking the nurspec off as went on the dyno same day. It is a great fitmaent on the classic so would have said the same for all years.

I'm also interested in the turbo back decat Japspeed for my classic.

Does anyone know if it will pass the noise test for trackdays?

Nice sounds good looks like you had great crack! Any problems on how it sat or fitted? Ive heard some people say it took a bit of bodging here and there to get to sit rite?

Won't the japspeed turbo back exhaust pass trackday noise test?

I'll be needing something that passes noise tests as its predominantly a trackday car (or at least it will be!)
