Default Whats so special about the wr1???

Which is a better car the wr1 or a sti widetrack? whats the difference?

Looking to upgrade but does the r1 justify its high price tag

Wr1 is purely a ltd edition car so will hold its value, i would hunt out for a nice widetrack if i were you although i have seen a rise in price for them on auto trader seem to be going up "/

seems like they are near enough same value give or take, but searching and comparing the widetrack is a better spec'd car

Bought mine due to the fact its ltd edition and I bloody love the colour. Looks loads better in the flesh than in pics. Different strokes for different folks i guess. Buy what you want not what others think you should buy imo :-)

i was merely asking why the wr1 jusifys its price tag. im looking at getting the sti wt because it looks better spec'd for its value, just wanted to make sure im not missing anything before splashing out lol

the wr1 is a narrow track sti with a dccd gearbox and awful colour. not worth the premium.

possibly the worse special edition they did.

It has dccd, black trim similar to spec c ltd, unusual colour, 18 inch wheels and is most powerful uk spec car as supplied. Widetrack has much more improvements like larger hubs, updated interior, different wheelbase, better suspension and rollbars, underbody aerodynamics to name a few and a jdm widetrack is even better in my opinion and rarer in uk than wr1. But it horses for courses and buy what appeals to you

will it make the car pull longer in rev range or is that down to the turbo, seem to die off at 5k revs
