The misses thinks im mad because i flash and wave at fellow owners! lol

Just wondering who else does?

Although i find myself only doing it to the New age versions - maybe because im in the blob, but i seem to be blind against classics and the latest "family" version?

I do tbh, although 60% don't wave back.

round here most i see belong to WMI who tend to give a nod or quick flash of the lights.

another thing aswell dont know why but my Car is blue with black fleck paint bonnet/roof/boot, but when i see someone with the same colour and bonet match they go mad flashing and waving away etc!

Just drive straight passed, I'm in the "family version" as you put it so it's either owners don't notice, or I'm not considered not in a proper Impreza so I get ignored or my favourite and the one I go with

Their jealous as they can't face that time moves on and I drive a much more capable car and have the ***** to go against the society by driving an Impreza hatchback

I do to all classics, newages I take a view on as to whether they might be an enthusast or not and never to the hatch as in my eyes it's not a Scoob..... bast**d ugly spawn of Satan more like

I always flash and wave, I've forgotten I've been driving the wife's Picasso and flashed too.
I had a nice chap in a red MG ZR flash me whilst in the scoob the other day, I flashed back and waved of course.

I always flash or wave, but don't always get a reply back. My misses thinks I'm mad and can't understand why we Subaru drivers wave or flash each other and other people driving say a ford focus or vauxhall Astra don't. Lol. I have given up trying to explain it to her now.

i dont bother, as there are soo many scoobys on the road i know alot of them wont actually be enthusiats/petrol heads and have just bought the car for its name... and to me as i see so many on the road my arm would get tired waving to them all lol so i dont bother unless its something special like a p1, 22b or RB320....

I do a subtle 'finger wave off the steering wheel' then they'll only see it if theyre looking for it. Its always a nice feeling to get a wave back.

Me too. It makes my fiancée laugh at some of the reactions from other drivers. I love the general enthusiasm we share for each others' cars.

It does nark me a bit when other drivers notice but don't return the "Scooby wave".

When I first got the car I done a fingers up off the steering wheel wave, funnily enough I didn't really get a response from classics though a few more from newage. I don't see many hatches on the road to wave at.

Ive stopped doing it now, I wait for people to wave/flash at me!
