Fuel pump on sti
Hi
Not long had my blobeye sti and apart from exhaust I'm going to fit its completely standard. I'm not planing to remap it but would I benefit from fitting an unrated fuel pump. Just looking to keep it nice and reliable

10 year old car now that fuel pump is probably on the tired side fit a hrc or walbro pump fit the exhaust k&n panel filter job done although if you can stretch for the remap it will blow you away what is hidden behind the stock settings/map

When I spoke to Andrew Carr about my car, he mentioned that the PPP blob STi cars have got a 225lpm pump so doesn't need changing, but otherwise it's a well worthwhile upgrade.
Hope that's accurate and helps answer your question.

I used to sell the ppp pack and I don't remeber selling a fuel pump as part of it

I did a quick forum search and found a few references to a debadged walboro 255 pump being fitted as part of PPP. I don't know for sure though!

On a serious note for the cost of one it would be worth while to be on the safe side if you have no way of monitoring your fuel pressure etc...
