Default rear number plate bulbs

On a 04 plate blob sti type uk. Are the number plate bulbs the 233 ones??

they are 501 same as sidelights

Wasnt sure if it was them or the festoon bulbs. but then autobulbsdirect show that there 233's. best to get one out and check. cheers dan

thats okay i dont trust any online guides, most times there are wrong, mine if an 05 blob but cant imagine them changing them between the year

Just changed mine for LEDs, they're 501 same as sidelights

LED's here too. The OE ones tend not to last long!
