Anyone reccomend a gearbox specialist in the Chester/Wrexham area to do the transfer box bearings in a six speed box, or is this a possible DIY job

We have had instances where the transfer bearing has collapsed in the back of 6 speeders and it takes the rear case with it. The problem is that the track for the bearing fits in a blind hole and we have no way to get the old track out once that happens. In fact it will not come out even if there is no damage to the case.

We have been wary of heating the case up until the bearing track drops out, just in case the case changes shape and then leaks.

We have cases in stock for the eventuality that it might be wrecked, so, yes it possible to do while u wait.

Give me a call, we can work it out somehow,
