OK, a bit of an overstatement.........
Called them today & put it to them ie a bulk buy (they werent going to fall for the freeby suggestion for P1 owners.!)...
They are going to get back to me with an alleged discount......for 10,20,30,40,50 jackets............SO ! who is interested firstly, and at what discount are you lot prepared to part with your money. I'm going to need this info soon, so that I can tell them one way or another.........
Come on - if you've got your P1 - you can afford the leather jacket.....!

Well Yes - if there is 50% or more off them......... Perhaps tinting your windows will be the next fad - stupid - perhaps - its only 'cos you want one DS !

Why get ripped off by UK dealers, when you can go to Europe and import your own jacket? I have ordered my new UK specification coat from Holland, saving several pounds in the process. OK, I may have to wait 10 months, however I have bought a tatty old blazer to run around in until my shiny new MY2002 spec coat arrives.
OK so you only get a 1 year warranty against crap stitching, as opposed to the UK specification 3 years, but who cares? These jackets rarely let you down and extended cover can easily be purchased from your local tailor.
Be careful though. Residually, your local Oxfam shop may give you less for your imported jacket compared to the UK version.
Beware of having your new jacket stolen in the pub, probably by someone even sadder than you.

these jackets sound a bit nerdy. are they a bit like the tatty looking replica flying jackets with sheepskin collars and hideous embroidery on the back, usually worn by guys with pot bellys and jeans that are too tight?

oh, and just to make my glee complete, PLEASE tell me that when you put your exclusive P1 jacket on ( is it 200 or 1000 being made

how come these things are supposed to be cool, yet the same people who buy one of these 'macho man' jackets will rip the p155 out of nova boys who wear baseball caps?
IMHO people who wear this kind of thing are sad. great car(overpriced), tacky jacket(overpriced).
