Default spain and back

Bought myself a nice import wrx wagon about a month ago. pretty much std but with dump valve, nice hard suspension, std brakes new alloy rad and a few other nice bits...big bore noisy exhaust....anyway real cheap.

My pajero was all set to go to spain but wheel bearing felt dodgy and brakes binding bad 2 hours before I left, stripped but pads gone, no choice as needed 4x4 for the snow so GTB's too thirsty for 2000 mile trip and one playing up with sparking across the coils and the other has been making funny noises so not running grea, so decided that the impreza was it...

she drove 2000 miles without hicough or fault...fantastic, averaged 27-28 mpg whilst travelling most of the way at 80 or 90 mph...utterly fantastic...noisy exhaust aside it was a great journey...
