Farewell fellow subaru owners
Well after a year of ownership its time to move on.
This scene is the best in the petrol head community, all the head bobbing and waving to fellow scooby owners as you pass, reminds me of the comradery between bearded dragons.
Its a shame as I love the car but its MPG has made me start to park it up and use 68bhp 1.4hdi!!!!!!!!!!
One day I'll be back with an STI (car not the itch! ), until then its farewell comrades.

Mpg is always going to be at the forefront of any persons mind, however if you do the sums the cost of changing a car to an Eco diesel is more than the loss in mpg, well that's how my sums worked out. Good luck anyway.

Get yourself a nice 6speed 2litre vag. I've a sport Touran at the moment and average 53mpg since the last service and can hit high 60s on a run.

After i sold my last one i was bored with in 3 months and started searchng for a new car.
Had to wait until the insurance was due to change because the company wouldn't insure me on a scoob but new car definitely worth the wait.
With the mpg issue i average 27/28mpg on my commute and that isnt me driving like an old man either. 320bhp classic. I just hold it off boost as much as i can stand. got nearly 300miles from £60 worth of petol last week.
