Default Tdo5 18g turbo

Hi people,

I've been offered the above turbo which has Been dyno to 350 bhp for £250 which I thought was a good deal but after looking on hear today I find that there a lot cheaper then the price I've been quoted.

So 2 question

Is it a good price or does anyone have one that they want to sell to me today.

I would go back the company who offered me the turbo but he's my local subaru specialist and I don't want to **** him off.

Thanks for help in your in advanced.

If its in really good condition then £250 is not that bad at all. Plus its from a local specialist so if theres any issues you can easily sort them.

Check them out on eBay I think there's some on there cheaper that's worth taking a risk on.

Ignore this advice. Do not buy ebay turbo's unless you have the cash to replace it soon after purchase.

As Matty said, £250 seems a reasonable price for an 18g. You say you've seen them cheaper, but how much? Is it worth taking a gamble on getting an unknown turbo £50 cheaper when you don't know the history or if it'll make the power?

In my opinion 250£ is a fair price for td05 turbo if it's in good shape. You can check condition of bearing by trying to move turbos inlet shaft up and down with your finger. It should feel firm and tight if it feels loosen and moves alot then you should leave it in the shop
