Default breaks on gx

Got a gx 53 blobeye saloon

Needs new pads, taken wheel off,is it a matter of un bolting caliper and taking the pads out?

Another thing is that its been sat for 2-3 months is it a good idea to do a oil change

assuming its the front pads...

open bonnet

unscrew brake fluid reservoir and wrap and old rag around the opening in case it spills

unbolt the caliper and slide off the brake disc

remove the old pads

use g clamp to push the piston back in

clean the discs with proper cleaner

copper grease the rear of the pads and place in the calliper

re bolt the caliper in place

put wheel back on

screw the reservoir lid back on

then pump the brake pedal a few times

then start the engine and test them.

... pretty sure thats it! i'm sure somebody will correct me

I didn't really want to replace discs,if not do the pads just pull out once the caliper is removed?
