Mine is up end of Feb - full on high tax Spec D.

In return, I take this opportunity to thank our government and local councils for potholes, poor lighting and sunken manhole covers.

We really appreciate what a safe place our roads are due to you guys.

I've just received a £45 refund cheque from VOSA for the remaining two months of my tax whilst my car is on SORN and hibernating until spring. The kind of letter from them I actually like, for once.

Full whack new rate due for me in February too... Thankfully my insurance and road tax are a good few months apart otherwise it would hurt a lot more than it does!

Luckily, not yet! Just after Christmas would not be a good time!
My Scoob is £220 to tax, and i also run a '10 plate Polo, which is £90 to tax.
And considering not one of the potholes on my roads have been sorted for over a year now, i think £310 a year is daylight robbery!

I am happy with the £270 tax on mine
Not good for the miles I do per year but £270 to use when I want and where I want is not that bad

+1 mate

Mine is due at full whack rate in February too, will probably get the oil changed again around then so not a horrendous bill but then again I got a wedding to pay for that's really going to hurt

Don't forget the privilege of mobile speed vans!

Not sure how you can be happy with that? Don't forget you pay fuel duty and vat on every drop of petrol you buy. 85p out of 1litre of petrol is tax! Im thinking perhaps they should tax us for for even more maybe? rain tax or snow tax or even sun tax! Or maybe the government should charge us extra for leaving our cars off the road! W##kers
