I'm using the DS2000 pads with the Prodrive brakes on the P1, and they're worn out after 6000 miles - just wondering what wear rate other people have got from their brake pads?

Also, when I called the nearest dealer to get them replaced, they had none in stock and said it would take about a week to get them in. Called about 3 or 4 other dealers, including one in Warwickshire who are supposed to be one of the biggest stockists of Prodrive parts in the country, and none of them had the correct pads in stock. With a pad lifespan of 6000 miles, shouldn't Subaru dealers realise that replacements might have to be ordered quite often, and is it really that difficult to notice you only have 1 or 2 sets left, and order some more in advance?

Jeeps.......6000 miles of hard driving or lots of track use ?? I was thinking of getting that upgrade, but that really has put me off.
