Default Difference in size between newage sti intercooler & standard classic uk 2000 plate?

I bought a newage sti tmic and cant see much difference in size at all from my standard uk 2000 plate intercooler?
Thought it would be a bit wider and deeper.
Will put a pic up after i finished work.
Are they similar size then?

I would have thought that the STi one would be wider and deeper? - but not by a huge amount. Have you measured?

Thet are quite a bit wide, from left to right. not really any bigger front to back and slightly deeper. sure its a newage sti and not a standard newage intercooler. they are slightly bigger.

Just measured it, same size left to right.
Width and depth seem the same.
Is the newage standard and classic turbo 2000 intercoolers about same size?
Im thinking its just standard newage with sti sticker and sti sprayed onto the fins?
Sick of getting ripped off with this fooking car think i might get rid.

The car itself was supposed to be 300 bhp with dyno prints found out that the engine had been changed and was running 215 bhp.
So that pissed me off, and am now in the middle of modding it upto 300 plus, but now im thinking just swap for something else as i keep getting ripped of and wasting my money.
I know some guy that wants to swap for a cupra r turbo might go for that.

I have been ripped off, buying a alloy facelift and I turned out to be steel. Brought online so didnt get a chance to look at it first. Brought some alloys and they turned up scabby, again online. Was a 5hour drive and this was a business so I thought they would be fairly honest. Also brought an exhaust that needed some work and a cat that didn't fit.
Have learned that you can't trust anyone, working all day means i have to miss most of the good deals.

The Newage STI intercooler is about 50% bigger than the uk turbo, The classic STI is the same size as the uk turbo but is silver instead of black, has an extra row of fins and an alloy y pipe instead of plastic one

You have bought a standard intercooler from a P1 by the sound of it. Is exactly the same as you have but in silver. Contact ebay and paypal and send back and get refund. As item not as described.

Yes i do. and am not a rip off merchant like many on ebay mate. if he describes it as off a bug sti then am sure you will get money back. how far away from you is seller. have you contacted them?

Looks like a classic STI one. Red Y pipe would suggest so too. Definitely not off a Bug STI, that's for sure.

Yes, this will be okay for 320bhp. It would be easier to go for a FMIC rather than fitting a newage STI one. It may well work out cheaper too.
