This design has been in manufacture as the 4th Gen Impreza since last year, everywhere but the UK and some parts of Europe

The WRX / WRX STi is due sometime 2014 and will probably come with a turbocharged version of the 2.0L FA engine.........

Whether it comes to Europe will depend upon the economic factors/exchange rate at the time.....................

Looks just like many other mass produced boring cars and in boring colours too.
Needs to be named the Subaru Sheep.

The new Hyundai cars look better.

The Bugeye was ugly but it had presence. This has gone one worse...its boring. I cant believe they call it an Impreza. Even the old Sport Imprezas gave homage to the Impreza name by the way it looked but this is as bland as any other car that would be bought by someone with absolutely no interest in cars whatsoever.

That is so disappointing I would rather drink cold tea, it has nothing that noticeably stands out & looks totally boring, tedious & bland.

I would like to think of myself as a die hard fan, tried to leave countless amounts of times but always end up coming back but this time what's left to come back to. That is horrendous

Not by a long chalk, but the market they had here was a good one nonetheless. I think about 85% of the Imprezas sold in the UK were performance models which is way more than any other country. Sadly Subaru didn't spot this when they got rid of the saloon and brought us the hatch in 2007.

We liked our rally rep saloons so all bar a few of us were immediately alineated from the brand. Then the car that replaced it didn't have enough about it to bring in the new market they wanted. It was expensive, not reliable in some guises and let's just say not the most aesthetically pleasing thing in the world. Coupled to the fuel economy issues in a land of sky high fuel prices and p1ss poor handling of the 2.5 engine issue and it's not hard to see why it just became unviable in the UK

Sad as I have owned at least one Impreza since the end of 1996, but for me the damage was done in 2007 so I am kind of over it now!
