just happened out of the blue, put my foot down and car now has a jet turbine sort of noise. really loud, only happens when putting foot down above 3k. idle's fine, drives fine normally. doesnt seem to be boosting properly, also loss of power. Any idea's? Cheers

blown off a pipe or somethings loose, maybe the dump valve has given up? check all hoses and pipes around turbo and inlet manifold, look at intercooler for possible damage.

I had this today,but it boosted off the gauge. Turned out to be the pipe had blown off the actuator.

Intercooler hose was loose, ive got an sti intercooler with standard wrx hoses and bracket so think i'm going to upgrade to the sti ones so it won't happen again lol
