Default Suggestions for a quieter system..

Evening all,

I'm currently running a full decat (2.5) with a Ninja 2 back box. I'm looking for a more track friendly back box, (for silenced days) if I can get away with just changing that. My current tail pipe is 4.5" if I remember rightly.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Silenced days? Is there really such a thing?
Why on tracks does it matter? A jobsworth involved somewhere along the line I'm sure?

Typical Bullsh1t Britain.

H&S system is quiet but raspy and awesome on boost! I love mine it makes the Scooby sound motorsporty without being too loud and droney! Think I made up a few words there but hey it's Xmas lol

Hi pal, I have a back box that would be track friendly not sure on a make and it looks a little tatty but it works well if you're only using it on track. Give me a pm if you're interested

Thanks for the offer Blue and Gold but looking for a more day to day system with the added bonus of being track friendly.

I like my prodrive back box, but i'm not into loud exhausts after my full decat miltek too much noise for an old man like me.

I believe japspeed or cobra did a 3 inch system with two boxes. It's still a performance system but more subtle sound & track day friendly. Failing that I have the H&S scoobyworld racebox exhaust & it's very quiet but still has the flat 4 rumble without being intrusive.

Cobra 'Trackday Friendly' 3" system mate. Great sound without being OTT. Had mine on a fortnight now and well chuffed. Nice burble over standard OE system.

We like the Jetex system, it has a nice big back box, and we've run one over 680 bhp.

They do a full decat. We can supply with a discount if you fancy one.

01752 345880 office hours,
Do you know what the DB rating is on these too? As well as a full decat price?

Cheers

I've got a custom back box that is super quiet but run the RCM resonated centre section; biggest resonator I could find on a 3" without having to go custom. Hth.

Jetex looks. A nice system. Is it 3"?

If you can afford it, go to Matt @ Simpson Race Exhausts and have a bespoke system built. I love how quiet mine is.

Thanks for all the tips lads, after just getting back from watching the trackday (circuit is local) I think I would have been alright given what some of the people were running!
