I didn't read it all, but what are you actually paying for? I coudldn't work out what you get, given you have to pay for accommodation etc. Could you not just organise the same thing or follow the same route on the same days?

you most probably could but i dont think it is much to pay £385 for up to 4 people (i will only take 1 passenger keep the weight down)
to have all your planning done for you and to be a part of something this good they have support vehicles and other back up also daily challenges
nights out planned ect

From the FAQ at the bottom of the About page

It depends… The entry fee for the 7 day event is £589 for a car with 4 team members and any additional members are £75 extra. The entry fee is reduced to £389 for the 4 day event parting in Venice, Italy. A deposit of £100 can be made to secure your place and 12 weeks before the rally we will issue invoices by e-mail to the team leaders.

Everything else is in your hands, including the cost of the car, crossings, tolls, fuel consumption, food & drink and accommodation etc. It can be a very cheap experience and you won’t find anything like it for less

Yup, thanks Dave for causing me an arguement with the Mrs . The list of locations have blown me away and may have been enough to force me out of being a recluse .
However, and I hate to admit she has a point, but what do you reckon this will cost you in petrol?

Sounds like an epic week, (gumball) springs to mind.
Very tempting, how do I tell the missus I'm away on a business trip for a week?
Are you using the Scooby or are you buying a £350 car? As it says on site or has that rule been lifted?
