Hawkeye WRX buyers guide ???
Hello ScoobyPeeps,
I miss my STi too much and am planning on buying a Hawkeye WRX next year. I'm going WRX rather than STi as I'm trying to reduce running and servicing costs as the car will be used a fair bit for work (Estate Agent in France).
Here's my old STi (photo taken just outside St. Tropez a couple of years back):
Apologies in advance if there is one but I can't find a "Buyer's guide" for the Haweye WRX?
I'd like to know what to look for etc. when choosing the next car : recalls, service stamps, common faults, dodgy repairs, things to avoid, etc. etc.
Research tells me that I should get a reasonably clean 2006ish model with under 80k miles on it for around the £5k mark
Something like :

or

Thanks in advance for any advice
