I do oil and filter twice a year so that's about 2-3k between changes. According to the service schedule it's once a year or 10k.

I take mine to a local garage for it's in-between service oil change. I supply the oil and filter and he charges me about £25 to do the dirty work. I would do it myself as it's a simple enough job but it really needs to go up on the ramp because the car is so low i cant get under there to remove the under tray.

I also supply my own oil & filter, then get a specialist to do the change for me for about £30.

I did mine after only 4k miles. I got my oil and filter from Opie, but Opie don't / didn't have the sump plug washer, so got one sent to me from my local dealer. You don't need a new sump plug, just the crush type washer.

Got it done at work by The Monster (aka Big Ian) and gave him a Yul Brynner.

Brace yourself for people massively over complicating the oil change process......disconnect the crank shaft sensor, turn the engine for a few minutes, stand on your head and scratch your ****, reconnect the crank shaft sensor, turn the engine for 12.678667 milliseconds and then check the level, text the Mrs, re check level...........yadda yadda!

Joking aside just remove the sump plug to drain old oil, remove the oil filter.

Fill the new oil filter with new oil, and re fit. Re fit sump plug with new washer. Add approx 4 ltrs of oil, run it for about 5 seconds, wait 5 mins, check level and top up a bit.

I think oil / filter changes are about £80 - £90 at a dealer.
