Does this look right











I'm sure it's always been like this even though I've had the engine out loads of times. My mate popped round the other day and said it looks like its slanted backwards, looking down at the pully at the front it doesn't look vertical, it does look slanted. It's hard to tell from the pics but it definitely does sit level.

Now the question is could I have put the wrong engine mounts on the engine?. When I put this one in I just garbed some mounts with L and R and slung them on. Do new models have different mounts?

Also when I set off I can feel the engine/gearbox move a bit, I've checked for split mounts on the engine and gearbox and all look fine.
On idle the engine kind of rocks about too ??

Anyone any ideas before I get pissed off and take the engine out and gearbox and start again.

Did you refit the Pitch stopper back on the gearbox/bulkhead ?

 

it looks nose heavy engine wise

 

Yes I have the pitch stopper, and it's more back heavy than front. It's tilted back

 

It should be tilted back slightly

 

I'm gonna have to compare lol

 

If all the mounts lined up ok it must be ok in my book
