Default Car Charging

Does anybody use a solar powered trickle charger on there car and are they any good? Read some reviews on them and some people have said that it could not keep up with the power that the alarm system is demanding.

I've been using this --

-- for the last year or so. Fantastic bit of kit, my car spends most of its life parked up in the garage and this just keeps the battery topped up.

With newages, a start once a week is often not enough.
