I've had comments at the car all the time now...

Had Someone shout "I WANT THAT CAR" while driving past.
another person came up and said "nice car mate"

I've had numerous ones.. What's the best comments you've had by a passerby?

No comments, but I was driving in the middle of Hertford from Parliament Square towards Folly Island when a few lads were crossing the road one Friday night, I stopped to let them finish crossing and one looked around, then all the others, and they just continued across the road walking backwards staring at the car

"I'd rather have one of them" a schoolkid pointing to a Z3 parked next to mine - cannot print my response to him

"Do you know you've got a flat" from a colleague. Checked it - I had 10psi in the tyre... "D'oh" sorta sums that one up.

Me and my girlfriend went to Deep Blue Aquarium in Ellsmere Port on Saturday and as we were getting out of my car a little lad of around 3 years old getting out of the car in front said to his mum

"Look mum, Rally Car" and she asked him what it was and he said "Subaru"

Made my day that!!!!!

Considering I only drive a MY95 (with STI V kit)

From an approx 9 yr old -"****ing Hell - a Subaru!"
From approx 13 yr old girls - "Nice car m8, but I wouldn't leave it there!" And their boyfriends "Wow does it have a dump valve"
My local garage seems to be a bit of a hang out joint for these people after dark.

Most pleasing one was a nicer little lad excitedly pullng his mum's arm to show her.

Red face

People quite often say,
"I want that car" but round here they mean what they say!
My neighbour asked me when I was going to "fix my exhaust",and said how bad it was that it should be blowing on a new car
"the faster the car the smaller the phone"or I think she said phone?

We had some school kids asking if we had been driving really fast cause our brakes were red hot!

(we have painted our UK300's calipers red)

They then asked us to boot it from the lights so they could hear it, we obliged of course!

Even had a guy in a Ferrari Marinello drooling over my bonnet!! Basically I told him to keep his car! 'Not interested Mate' I told him in a aggressive tone.

A group of kids nearly walked across the road in front of my car, one was to busy talking, he didn't see me(I was only doing about 5mph)and he stepped on to the road and his friends shouted "watch out" to him. His repy was "If I'm going to get hit by a car, I'd like to hit by one of them!" Then he grinned at me.
