Default best exhaust.....official!

hi,well in my time of scooby ownership i must be in second place for the sheer amount of exhausts tried and tested on my scoob,(obviously first place would have to go to powerwrx)
ive finally found what imo is by far the nicest exhaust sound,1 for noise and 2 for the tone.
its the one and only milltek.
im running 385/380 in a 2ltr type r,it has full 3" decat,no resonators and after fitting the 3" milltek backbox i must say i am completely impressed with how it looks and sounds.im finally happy with my exhaust,(at last).....just fitting this backbox has transformed the car back to what i think is peerrrrrfect!

Great news chap, I had a full 3" miltek on my car originally but swapped it for something louder. Was a great system though.

Where did you get the box from in the end buddy ?

from some of the posts ive read of yours tony i doubt that the milltek would suit you as i like quiet systems.
i remember you posting about the ninja not being very loud!

i was also considering this system but as i had already bought brand new downpipe and centre section i just needed to get a backbox that suits and the milltek is just right.

well, in the wet i do try to avoid planting my foot down if my steering wheel is anything but straight.
dccd works well in the wet if you move it up a notch.
what mileage is on your motor?are you budgeting for the rebuid?not saying it will happen but if i were you i would be saving for a build, because with that amount of power through the standard motor...it could well be a matter of time?mine went pop at 310 bhp with about 70k on it.
