I called up mate, the guy was really rude and seemed to have no clue, i asked about the car and and was told it was a spec c, i said i could not see a roof flap and was told it never had one lol i told him it was not a spec c and got abuse and the phone put down on me lol great way to treat potential customer as i was interested if it was genuine.

I looked at it, fair enough it's a JDM but it's not a Spec C, those badges are £1.80 off eBay.

That is a standard 2005 JDM Sti, NOT a Spec-C, Rear wiper and side skirts like tommy says, It also has the I/C spray under the bonnet which is a JDM sti thing as the UK had it in the right boot compartment and the Spec-C has a large 12L tank accross the rear seats in the boot, It also has headlight adjustment which the Spec-C does`nt and they are UK lights in it now not the better JDM hid ones, Probablly changed due to an SVA test.

my mate has bought a few cars from them and they have all been dogs, recently an evo 5, and head gasket issues within a month!!

They are good at getting finance for peeps with a poor credit rating, and young inexperienced lads who just see the fast cars

Some Spec C's circa 2003-5 are/were made without a roof flap. This was shown in a WRC homolgation form. But extremely rare and I've not seen one. Possibly because made for WRC use only. The only real way to tell is via model code

Also as said spec c has large IC spray bottle in boot this one in the engine bay

Normally spec C interior is black unless its a vlimited
