Default Just thought I'd share my findings...........good oil prices!

A company called Moto-oil, got some great offers on oil, just bought 5 litres of castoral edge sport 10/60 for £44 including delivered to the door next day! Can't fault it, especially when that's the same price as most places charge for 4litre cans and then delivery charges on top.

Other people may hold a different view, but my experience with them has been great

They have good prices on most of the products so just thought it be worth a mention

Oil choice is a can of worms at best but I wouldn't use a 10 60 in a road car personally, especially in winter. I would stick to a 5w 40 or 10w 40 in a mildly tuned car or 10w 50 in anything pushing in the excess of 400bhp. With a 60 weight oil you're just straining the oil pump and creating excess drag. All IMHO.

Yea agreed lol it is a can of worms, there is a lot of various opinions, my last one was always ran on 10/60 and so are all of my friends ones, car is 453/446 was thinking of a 10/50 but just stuck to what I know tbh! I hear mixed bags with the 10/40 at over 400, I know a lot of people do use it but hear horror stories at the same time, but tbh I think 10/60 suits my driving style car gets a lot of action on the mountain roads which is where I love to toy about especially late at night when it's quiet so car does see a lot of WOT, each to their own I suppose
