Looking to come back to a scoob!
Hi guys,
Not been on here for a good while now, due to not having a scoob, lol
Iv currently got a mk5 r32 which is a great car and very comfy and well specked but im getting the flat4 turbo itch again
Iv had 3 imprezas before so i know what there all about but i was just wondering what i could get for my money in todays market? And what you guys would recommend.
Il have up to 9k to spend.
Thanks,Jamie

With that budget you are looking at an early classic up to a hawkeye sti, depending which you go for would determine what spec you could get.
Do you know what your after, which model floats your boat, are you after a high spec'd weekend car or a nicely tweaked everyday car

With that kind of money you can get a Hatch WRX with low miles and even some tuning done on it, or I have seen a Hatch STI for not much more than what you have.
As has already been said you can get a newage saloon wrx or sti blob or hawk eye it really depends on spec you want WRX, STI, JDM and if you are bothered by high mileage or not.

Yes im deffo after a new age proberley a late sti blob of some kind,
i prefere the look of the hawk eye but not the big tax bill and the horror stories of the engines.
The R32 is a good car, quite quick, very well made and very comfy and well kitted out.
just really fancy a proper 4wd turbo again.
Choices,Choices.lol.

Regular checks on auto trader an pistonheads is a good place to start although I am sure there will be more choice in the new year unless you get someone needing to sell prior to Xmas
