Default Service Day

Today was the day for the girl to get her full service, apart from the rain that was on and off more time than my misses!
I replaced completed the following:

Fuel Filter (Genuine Subaru)
Air Filter (Genuine Subaru)
Spark Plugs (NGK)
Pollen Filter (Genuine Subaru)
Oil Filter (Genuine Subaru)
Engine Oil, Miller CFS 5/40 Full Synthetic

The car did run sweet before but as I have only had for nearly 2 months I was to be sure it was all good for the winter and that I knew what was in it!
All that is left is the Diff and Gearbox oil change and power steering fluid, the coolant/ brake/clutch fluids are all OK and can wait to next service.
All the bits cost just over £160 and a day of my time, half the cost of what some charge and third of what main dealer would have charged.
Peace of mind doing it your self!
Must admit the car does sound even better and throttle response is lot smother, probably bit on mind playing there?

Well done. Good boy.

On things like this, who needs a Subaru garage? Just to stamp the book, pants down and go in dry lol
