Has anybody successfully removed the naff pink "Sti Type uk" badge from boot of their car ?
I think the Subaru designers must be colour blind. The gold wheels are bad enough but badge is horrendous.
I want to get the thing off but obviously don't want to damage my pride and joy. Any Ideas ?
Cheers, Ian.

Have you tried the old hairdryer trick to melt the glue. Worked on my surf shack WRX stickers but I have heard it also works on the silver S U B A R U badge on UK cars

Hey, they will get really upset with you calling it "pink". It is Cherry Blossom, which has some great importance in Japanese culture.
It isn't a random colour, it is STI's corporate colour. I think I would draw the line at the cherry blossom rally jacket though.

Sorry guys but the "STi Type Uk" badge isn't the plastic sticker type that you get on the back of the pre 2001 Scooby. My my00 "turbo 2000" sticker came off with the hair dryer as you suggested.
It looks like its made of metal (or cromed moulded plastic) but I'm not sure if its stuck on, screwed on or riveted.
I just wondered if anybody else had tried to get it off their STiuk and succeded.
Thanks anyway.
Cheers, Ian.
