Wow over 600bhp that is impressive, what engine management system did you run Alcatek?
To get 500 wheel horse power on the wheels what is the power target on the crank?

That is some impressive figures from a 2.5 lump, bet it's brutal on as a road car with torque all over the range, so 4k for just the short block now there's food for thought when the warranty is up in May :-)

Out on curiosity how come this cosworth built engine can handle such high power where most people and tuners would suggest not pushing the 2.5 subaru block when forged past 450/450 even if it was pinned etc so how come this can take so much more

There is no difference..... it's the same block!
It's as much to do with the mapper imo as it is the crap block. A little bit of luck was obviously on my side..... Like I said though I wouldn't recommend it.

It ended up making 540bhp at the fly on VPower and made an additional 85bhp on Q16 race fuel. IIRC I had about 530 at the hubs on Q16.
