They are fairly refined so don't 'feel' as quick as say a classic for instance, and lets be honest a big heavy newage with 300bhp isn't exactly a rocket ship.

Does it have the Prodrive Exhaust and certificate? When I bought my Blobeye 2003 edition STi UK it was in standard 260Bhp guise. When I test drove it from owning a classic Turbo 2000, it felt lack lusture and the same power as my classic. Once I bought and had the PPP fitted, boy what a difference. If the exhaust has STi printed on it then its not a Prodrive Performance Pack upgraded Subaru I'm afraid and therefore someone is telling porkies. :-(

Should certainly feel a fair bit quicker than the Saab, Volvo or the WRX. As above did it have the PPP Certificate ?
Worth noting as well that the PPP Map is not bespoke and a remap with minimal mods can really bring them to life

As above, a few minor changes and mapping session will transform a newage STI. All can be done for not a lot of money too.
