Hi I have a turbo 2000 and its running 1.5 bar of boost on standard internals just wanted to see what other people are runing on standard internals

3" decat
1.5 bar boost

1.5 bar on STANDARD internals? Who mapped that?

Mine is fully forged 2.5 litre and only runs 1.5 bar.

 

Which turbo ??

 

He proberly ment 15 psi.

 

Fully forged 2.5 on 1.5!!!! Mind you the 2.5 army as strong as the 2.0 but still would imagine to push more than that

I run at 1.4bar on standard UK T2000 internals.. She has done 145K and never been rebuilt. All very possible if you look after them.

I also ran 1.45bar on a UK2000 96 plate, usual exhaust/filter mods on TD05 16g, car had done over 100k and it was a great drive, engine lasted fine but i serviced regularly.

I'm on 1.4bar, VF35 on standard internals, haven't had it on the rollers but assured by FB Tuning that will make at least 320bhp, probably more.

 

Not at all uncommon for classic UK turbos on std internals to run 1.4/1.5bar when fitted with an uprated turbo. Tuned well with appropriate supporting mods and looked after properly and they'll do that all day.

I had a MY99 with a VF35, FMIC, induction, exhaust, headers, fuel pump, Simtek etc.. Made best part of 350 of each. Never missed a beat.

That was when they gave the UK cars proper pistons as standard!

 

I have a tdo5 16 g gtspec 2 front mount blitz filter welbro full 3" decat system it made 277bhp and 388nm torque but only reved to 5.5 as plugs are shaged need better heat resistant had map checked and a fuelling and map are fine just thought it was a bit high should make around 320-330 bhp and 400nm thanks for letting me know that they are cars running this kind of boost

 

Also yes mines a 99 as well lol
