Default Meguiar's

Going to give the car a good clean tomorrow. What meguiar's products have people used and recommend on a blue scoob like mine below? If you could post some pics it would be nice.

Meguiars clay bar is good, needs the special quick detailer as a lube though, so now I use Bilt Hamber clay bar which only needs tap water as a lube.

I don't use Megs much anymore, as I feel their products are pricey.

Try The Ultimate Finish.com, loads of very good stuff on there. R222 carnuaba wax is fantastic. Poorboys wash and Poorboys wheel sealant is great too.

Snow foam....the list goes on!

If you want a wax that won't turn all your dark plastic and trim white, despite derision from some quarters, I've had very good results from Turtle Wax Ice paste:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2210895136...84.m1423.l2649

Yiou can use it on everything apart from your glass and tyres. I used to use Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0, but I've gone right off that now due to the white residue, and the beading from the Ice paste lasts longer too.

The only meguiars product I would stay away from is their alloy wheel cleaner, its really really aggressive stuff.

If you do use it make sure you wash it off with the hose afterwards, I had a set of standard wheels that got stains from it and believe it or not it actually stained my driveway as well.

On that type of blue a synthetic polish will work better for the metal flake in it and will look alot nicer than using a carnuba/natural product.... The turtle wax ice is synthetic and goes on well with a damp applicator..it's the dogs bollix on our paint
