Default How to get more power

Ok,

So I've not had the scooby long and I'm already thinking about what else can be done without going mad to get more power from the Scoob!

It's running around 320bhp (no idea on torque) and it's plenty for the moment but I can see me getting bored in the not too distant future...

In terms of performance mods it's not actually got that much:
- K&N Panel filter
- Miltek Turbo back (3" I think) with sports cat
- Ecutek remap

I'm thinking obvious choice is a decat as I have a lot of friendly MOT testers and then possibly another remap but what am I likely to see on the standard turbo?

Thanks in advance.

Ash

Depends on what car you have mate

I`d keep the Miltek sports cat on as a decat wont give you a massive increase over the miltek IMO

Turbos good for around 340, Depends on what power you want but anything over this would require turbo/injectors and remap.

What has it had done to it so far? If it is just running a sports cat and not been remapped I would doubt you are getting 320bhp.

A panel filter, walbro and a remap should see you 340-350 but more importantly increase throttle response and pick up through the gears making the car much more driveable

Hello mate mines a 2003 sti blobeye ppp, ive got similar mods to yours, afterburner full exhaust system, cossie panel filter with a ECUTEK remap i got 323bhp 340lbs torque, to get more i think your gonna neeed bigger injectors and a different turbo on the car to get anymore than 320, what kind bhp are you looking to go upto?

Regards

surely next upgrade would be a good 18g or similar, in which case standard pink injectors should just about be sufficient?

Injectors are fine. Amazed you only made 323, even the VF28's make 320-330...

I'm running 327 on a VF28 on a P1.

I also forgot that it has a fuel pump as well!

I haven't got a scooby in regards to Turbo's (as in I have no idea what turbo my scooby has and what would be a good replacement etc... I keep hearing about 18g and 20g)?

Sorry for being a noob
