Common for rocker cover gaskets to leak onto manifold, will burn off more when given beans.
Also check water and oil feeds/returns for turbo for leaks(even very small)
May pay to get on ramp and check for anything obvious.will smoke when get hot if anything.
Hope it helps.
Hope you get it sorted.

no not water, i can visibly see oil under back of engine if you look through the front of the front drivers wheel, ive changed the rocker cover gasket along with bolts and washers. i cleaned all oil off around the bottom corner then took it for a spin and checked when i came back and no oil was present but ive checked today and its there again,it looks like its coming from the back of the engine then creeping along and dripping onto exhaust. im starting to think that the rocker cover wasnt leaking in the first place and the leak is coming from elsewhere. i get a definete smell of burning oil on nearly every journey.

only had car for 3 months, this is course of events thats lead to this conclusion. was advised that maybe drivers side rocker cover leaking as visible oil dripping onto exhaust.changed oem gasket and spark plug gaskets. started leaking badly out of wahers as they were shot so ordered new ones of those, changed those and the main gasket again. still seemed like leaking as small drip collecting on bottom corner and wet further back onto block so i tried tightening the bolts and ended up snapping one in the head, car out of action as had to wait for friend to weld ont bolt to remove, he is a mechanic and put all back together again. thought was sorted but still oil pooling on bottom corner. so im thinking now that the oil must be coming from somewhere else surely. what do you reckon, its driving me mad.

half moons were changed as well and like i say if i clean the oil off and dry then give it a hard run it doesnt show again straight away so taking longer to get there from somewhere else.

Wipe it clean and go for a short drive to warm it up and then have a look it should start to weep from somewhere.

Had smoke from bonnet vents two times within a couple of weeks.

First time: leaking half moon

Second time: leaking power steering pipeline

Maybe this helps.

Cheers
Andy
