Some of them focus's really move if they been played with, a good friend of mine has a puma speed built one and its like a rocket in all fairness, but getting power down is another story if yours is standard and that focus has been played with expect to have your *** handed to you imo different if both cars are on level pegging tho

A good friend of mine has a 400 / 400+ Mk2 RS's and they are very quick
once they are on the move. But i reckon a from a standing start
a 330/350 scooby should see one off.In the wet no competition scooby
all the way.Saying that a 330/350 cossie would be the same result .

It's Friday so I'm smiling anyway but that was too funny
End of the day, as standard they have similar power out puts so would be down to driver confidence and ability. If the car is new to you I would not suggest getting tied up as you will push it beyond your capabilities and write the thing off at best or hit someone or thing at worst. Leave the rs to it but suggest a little tear up at a track close by where there is nothing that will get in the way when the weather is better or when you have got used to your car.

Are we talking about the Focus RS Turbo with the 2.5 Turbo engine?
Because we took a 380bhp Audi S3 and a WR1 around the ring with a Focus RS 500 and the RS was faster by a fair margin, although it was being driven like it was stolen and we were being respectful to our cars.
They're not slow, put it that way.
On a road it would come down to who's willing to take bigger risks, so don't do it.
