A truly gifted driver IMHO...

... or a nutter. Whatever, but if you can, *do* buy that Ring video off that man.
Coming back from the Ring yesterday evening, and having done 3 laps (needed reanimation, getting old), I decided to watch the girlie video that Stef did...
My girlfriend draw my attention to the fact that my lower jaw was constantly dropping a few mm.
Not starting a debate on Stef's driving abilities (I think he is a total freaking nutter ), but if you get the chance, do buy either his video or the Scoobynet CD (think it's on there as well, not sure, Webbie ?). I know there has been another thread about this, but just wanted to make sure that you understand this is mind-blowing stuff (no mushrooms needed - *especially* when you have driven that puny circuit (counted 4 wrecks on my 3 laps yesterday )
Taking on the Ring Taxi in your first 5 laps is a definite no-no, unless you are very gifted, very experienced, very crazy, or all of them.
Amazing stuff ...
But do NOT try this at home
Theo [no, not commercially involved and all that !]

Theo,
They won't be able to make a helmet big enough now! LOL
Seriously though, having watched Stef from a couple of places on the Ring, I can say that the Mans' commitment is absolutely astounding. He is a very very good driver who knows how to drive up to, and cross over, the limits of his car time after time.
V.Impressive!

Thanks chap, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Not sure about being 'truly gifted' though, at least not at driving!
It was great to see you again at the weekend, and your car is fecking awesome, in both power and looks.
We gathered some unbelievable footage from the trip, and I will spend the next few weeks sorting it all out ready for the next vid, which won't actually be out for some time. I'll also be doing a social video for all those that came over, and anyone else who wants to see what we (especially John Felstead ) got up to.

Just like to confirm what Theo has said. The video is well worth getting - amazing laps, especially when you meet the coach on the circuit
Having been lucky (?) enough to have gone round the ring with Stef, I can safely say that it will live in my memory, particularly
the handbraked slide through Brunchen
Cheers Stef

Thanks again everyone. I never expected everyone to be so enthusiastic.
Due to demand, the video will soon be sold through several other outlets as well!
I have watched all the footage I have from this last trip and the sequel will be well worth the wait.
Terry.
Yours was sent out yesterday.

I have to agree on this one... I just watched the DUKE Impreza Story video all the way through for the first time (Thanks Mark ) and you are right, Stef certainly appears to be "Gifted" in some way. I assume he was interviewed before he went moon-driving off the track? Annoying how the media always choose the worst bits to show, init!
