Question

Hi

I have a WRX (march 2002 / mileage 2700) which I imported from Belgium. I am looking to possbily buy a STI.....How much do you think I will get for my WRX and is the STI a better Car?

Cost price minus 25% I would imagine from a dealer - you would find it hard to sell private as who would buy a car off someone when it has only been owned for 8 weeks!!

X8, I'd suggest that this is not the best place to get constructive feedback on how much your import WRX is worth.

BTW - I know that ADP was after a WRX quick sharpish, try dropping him a line, he may be interested. He'd be looking at paying around 17k new from a supermarket so base your price around that.

Should easily get over £15k for it, which assuming you paid £17k means a £2k loss, do you think a dealer will give you £19750 back for a similar age UK car - unlikely?

Polarbearit - you daft muppet

Would you pay £15k for an Import with one owner and run-in by someone else?? When you know you can buy a spanking new one for £16.5k?? I certainly wouldnt.

A dealer will want £2k in the car - so, a dealer 'may' give £12.5 - he will put it up for £14.5 and take £14k

I dont know, these import boys think they can have their cake AND eat it!!

Well yes I still will be looking for one(got paid by the insurers -nice) however as someone mentions, would I want one that someone else had run in ? well probably not, but that would depend how much it was? so maybe

At the moment I can get a euro import with bucket seats etc etc for 17.6K or if I wait a few months may 16K which is very good.
