Bast**D!

Just checked that link and www.japanesemotosparesco.uk is DISSOLVED

I did hear that some guys off another forum have started looking for him recently.

Don't even think his name is Scott Lawson.

Someone should involve the police really.

Interesting update:

Just called my bank to discuss the payment made to JapaneseMotorSpares.

The payment was processed under the name of www.glowinghomes.co.uk and not Japanesemotorspares.

I've checked on Glowingholmes and it is a replica of Japanesemotorspares apart from the products being sold obviously.

The bank also said that the payment has been refunded to me as there was a problem with the processing his end and thus the payment was cancelled.

I'm starting to suspect the person who recommended me the site.

But he seems a good forum member going on Trader Score etc.

He offered me a Idle Control Valve very cheap last week which I bought but haven't fitted yet.

I'd feel a bit bad If I named the person on this thread now.

Well this is where the threads come from yours as I've seen this far too many times with this clown as I've owned different cars and all forums say the same I'd name him as he needs questioning about it as seems very suspicious as this guys obviously doing it for one reason only !!!! No mistakes here

Guys, I know this is a hot topic, but I'm going to let you know that please be VERY careful when naming and shaming. I'm not trying to prevent you posting, but I have to forewarn you that it can result in threads being removed (whether we like it or not).

i.e If you dealt with a disreputable company, post legally provable facts, preferbly on somewhere like blogger with evidence if possible, not here. Links to other sites should be ok, just so long as content is not pasted directly on here.

I'm only saying this because, as generally speaking when companies are shown in a negative fashion on a website they sometimes resort to legal action to remove content posted on those websites. This creates a possibility that threads may in future be removed should a forum receive formal notification.*

*I'm not posting or naming or inferring to any specific company or person in this post whatsoever. This is a general information post, and I am not responsible for those who may or maynot heed to my advice. I am not responsible for validating people's stories, links or information that they may supply on here or on any other part of the internet. I do not hold or have access to personal details of users on this forum, and have no authorisation to provide such information.

Sorry about this; Sometimes it is like treading on eggshells here.

i placed an order for some parts from flat4online, and they were delayed by about a week or 2. after constant pestering they eventually turned up.

thankfully it was only a small order (aircon belt and tensioner pulley), but i will refrain from using him again if there's potential to have major issues.

thanks for the heads up

Im not familiar with the issues or forums mentioned in the earlier posts, but traditionally Flat4Online were cheaper because he didnt hold the stock and he didnt have premises.

People always got their kit, but the lead times were sometimes extensive.

This may have changed of course, but it certainly was the case.

I haven't used him recently (last five years), but when I did buy a fmic and some other bits I did get them. Took about 5 days for delivery at the time.

My friend ordered some injectors a year or so later and had to wait over a month, so based in that I stopped using flat4online.

However, I'm surprised people still use him, the web is FULL of stories about him. Don't people do any research at all?

People see cheap and jump on it unfortunately but again people need to step back and think if it's too cheap there's usually a reason.
