Prodrive backbox will be louder than the stock. I've recently gone from a stock cat'd exhaust to a full decat prodrive one. The size difference in the backbox was quiet noticable. The prodrive one was smaller with a bigger pipe bore which will make it sound awesome.
Go for it!

I had the prodrive backbox on my car and found it quiet full stop. I now have hayward and scott which has abit more noise but not a great deal more and is unintrusive my exhaust is standard apart from a sports cat although I have an sti.

I have the prodrive back box on my blob wagon and really like it, quiet but with a low key burble around town, until you press the loud pedal, then not too noisy but with a nice deep sound, it's perfect for me as a daily driver.

I also have a full decat 3" milltek system on my sti type r and even with the resonated centre section it's too much for my liking, although not as bad as some i have heard, and the drone is a pain on long motorway trips, but great for a weekend car, couldn't live with it everyday though.

looks like a std centre section so just use the rearbox on your car with your existing centre box
