Is a Walbro 255 louder then OEM?
I've just had a Walbro 255 fitted and I can't hear it as any louder than my old OEM one?
I'd been told that it would be louder than my OEM, but I can't hear it... Ok, I have a full decat 3" system so it's not a quiet car, but it's not loud either compared to some.
Is the issue with Walbros that after a while they become noisy or are they meant to be noisier as soon as you fit them? Maybe it's the fake Walbros that are noisier? Mine is from Lateral Performance so happy it's genuine.

If it made a loud noise I'd be worried about it! I'd say they are very slightly noisier, as in 10% or so. Bear in mind it's a direct fit in the original housing and has had noise issues designed out of it.
